Closure Systems International (CSI) will present its latest closure, capping and technical service offerings at Drinktec 2013 beginning 16 September 2013 in Munich, Germany, .
At the event, the company will present plastic and metal closure and capping solutions for carbonated soft drinks, bottled water, non-carbonated beverages such as juices, sport drinks, and ready-to-drink teas, liquid dairy drinks and beer, wine, and spirits.
Drinktec 2013 will feature company's ScanCap closures equipped with new digital technology to enable smart phone mobile marketing.
The technology allows CSI to apply an unlimited number of 2D bar codes (QR codes) under or on top of bottle caps in sharp definition.
ScanCap enables beverage companies to interact directly with consumers at the point of consumption.
The Omni mini XP 28mm, which weighs 1.9g, is said to be the company's new CSD closure for soft drinks. It incorporates features including better CO2 retention as well as better impact performance.
At Drinktec 2013, the company will also present its lightweight closures including Sports-Lok mini 26mm and 28mm LW closures as well as Aqua-Lok mini 26mm LW bottled water closure.
According to the company, these closures maximize source reduction, reduce carbon footprint and use recyclable resins.
CSI will also exhibit its various closures including new Extra-Lok V 38mm ODU and Asepti-Lok V 38mm 3S LF for hot-filled, cold-filled and aseptically-filled non-carbonated beverages and dairy drinks.
The Extra-Lok V 38mm ODU closure is suitable for multiple filling applications, multiple bottle materials and multiple bottle finish wall thicknesses.
CSI's three-start, one-piece Asepti-Lok V 38mm 3S LF closure is suitable for aseptically-filled juices, nectars, sport drinks and ready-to-drink teas. The closure features better venting properties and provides anti-blow-off protection for advanced consumer safety.
During the event, CSI will also present its metal closure portfolio including Long-Caps designed for wines, spirits, and other adult beverages.
