Flexible packaging solutions provider Comexi is exhibiting its latest lamination, coating and slitting solutions at this year’s Interpack event in Germany.
The event is being held from 4 to 10 May in Düsseldorf.
Comexi L20000 is a new water-based laminator, which has been developed to meet the new demands of the flexible packaging field.
The new machine, which was developed in partnership with HP Indigo, will enable to carry out just in time laminations. It allows to complete job deliveries within one day due to machine’s fast and intuitive start up.
Comexi is also exhibiting its technical solutions, including heat seal, coatings, barrier varnishes and cold seal, for brand owners to meet their packaging requirements.
The company will exhibit its Comexi Dual, Comexi ML1 and Comexi Futura solutions, which will allow to complete job works effectively.
Featuring cast and cure technology, Comexi Futura enables to provide enhanced holographic finishing and it can be used in cold-foil applications or UV and solventless lamination applications.
The company is presenting a range of slitting machines, including new slitter machine Comexi S1 MS and S2 line that integrates Comexi S2 DT and Comexi S2 DS.
Comexi S1 MS features new single-shaft system, which allows workers to effectively deal with large reels of paper, cardboard, self-adhesive tapes, aluminium, BOPP and other laminated structures.
According to the company, Comexi slitters provide flexibility to work with a double turret or a double shaft, including both S1 and S2 lines.
Comexi S-Turret slitter, which is a machine with an advanced single-turret system, includes enhanced control systems to work at high speeds for better productivity.
In addition, the firm is exhibiting Cingular laser technology that can be incorporated in-line in its slitting machines, allowing it for use in different application such as easy open, perforation, pre-cut, numbering, slitting and alphanumeric codes.
