Japan exported 65,941 tons of stainless steel flat products in November, decreasing by 2.7% from a month ago while rising by 21.8% year on year, according to statistics released by the country’s Ministry of Finance. In November, Taiwan was the largest importer of Japanese stainless steel flat products with 15,657 tons, jumping by 84.3%; Korea was the second largest one with 14,443 tons, soaring y 80%, both compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago. In the first 11 months of this year, Japan’s exports of stainless steel flat products amounted to 724,303 tons, down by 10.5% year on year.
