China's Domestic Polysilicon Firms Has Been Anticipating The Announcement

China's Ministry of Commerce originally planned to announce the preliminary result of its anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation against polysilicon firms from the EU, US, and South Korea on February 20, but has now decided to delay the announcement to March, according to China-based media. The delay is due to the Lunar New Year holidays.

China's domestic polysilicon firms has been anticipating the announcement. Many market observers believe if the investigation results in punitive tarrifs on imported polysilicon to China, the domestic polysilicon price will likely increase.
