China's Ministry of Commerce(MOC)has announced that during last week(December 17-23)the average steel price in China increased by 0.2 percent compared to the previous week.In particular,in the given week prices of 10 mm steel plate,12 mm diameter rebar and 3 mm hot rolled sheet increased by 0.5 percent,0.3 percent and 0.3 percent respectively,all week on week.In the week ending December 23,average prices of minerals in China witnessed an increase of 2.5 percent week on week.Furthermore,the average prices of iron ore,molybdenum ore and tin ore in China increased by three percent,1.9 percent and 0.4 percent in the week in question,while the prices of tungsten ore and copper ore were down 2.3 percent and one percent respectively compared to the previous week.Meanwhile,in the given week average prices of energy in China decreased by 0.3 percent week on week.The average price of metallurgical coke in China remained unchanged compared to the previous week,while the average price of raw coal and crude oil indicated respective week-on-week decreases of 0.6 percent and 0.4 percent
