The 2013 Australian Business Awards categories for Product Value, Product Excellence and Best Software have been awarded to IFS SmartFreight. These awards have been added to the four previous awards – for Product Value and Product Excellence – bestowed upon IFS in the 2012 Australian Business Awards program, and Best E-Business Product and Best Software Product awarded in 2011.
IFS SmartFreight, developers of the SaaS (Software as a Service) Transport Management Software (TMS), has set a standard that has never been achieved in the eight years since the ABA awards program began.
The Australian Business Awards is a prestigious national awards program, recognising organisations across all industries and sectors through an established set of business and product award categories, assessing the core values of business excellence, product excellence, sustainability and responsibility. The Product Excellence Award is awarded for products that by the nature of their unique design offer a point of difference from their competitors, and the Best Product Value Award recognises products that deliver outstanding value to organisations that implement the solution. The Best Software Product Award recognises software products that demonstrate overall product superiority from others in the marketplace.
IFS SmartFreight was recognised alongside Australia's most innovative organisations in 2013, including Procter & Gamble, NRMA, Pronto Software, CSIRO, National Australia Bank and Deloitte to name a few.
IFS SmartFreight general manager Australia & New Zealand Kerry Holmes said: "We are delighted to have won three Australian Business Awards this year, which acknowledge nearly fifteen years of commitment to developing leading-edge TMS software for our customers. Collectively the seven awards recognise the great success of our products over a lengthy period of time, as well as acknowledging the expertise of our people who support them."
