ChemChina Petrochemical's Jinan branch held an ERP evaluation meeting on Nov 15 with the company's CIO, other leaders, ERP personnel, key users, IBM consultants and KPMG supervisors.
At the meeting, IBM consultants reviewed ERP operations over the past six months, summed up the company's achievements, pointed out existing problems, and worked out future plans.
At the meeting, Wang Hui, the company's Party secretary, asked all leaders to pay attention to ERP daily operation, maintenance and deep applications, and to set a good work example for all departments. Wang urged the information management department to strengthen coordination and inspection, hold regular meetings to discuss and solve outstanding problems, and ensure data accuracy in order to help management make decisions. Wang also called for efforts to promote the ERP project in order to enhance understanding and sum up past experiences.
The CIO hoped that the review can improve work, consolidate achievements, and better serve production and operations.
