Earnings (EBITA) increased year-on-year by €226 million to €218 million, compared to a loss of €28 million in Q4 2012 - these figures exclude various factors such as restructuring charges. This was driven by higher gross margins and overhead cost reductions. LEDs now represent 34 per cent of total lighting sales, compared to 25 per cent for the same quarter last year.
