Turkey’s coking coal imports of coking coals totaled 491,886 tons in September, more than double year on year and almost triple month on month, according to report of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). In September, the country’s exports values generated by coking coal totaled US$70.55 million, soaring by 52.02% year on year. In the January-September period, Turkey’s coking coal imports amounted to 3.9 million tons, rising by 15.46% year on year. The import values were at US$631.51 million, falling by 18.79% year on year.
