Costa Mesa, Calif. — BenQ America introduced Wednesday its M7-series business projectors.
The new SKUs include the MX768 and MW769, both of which offer up to 4,200 ANSI lumens of brightness, contrast ratios extending to 13,000:1, and flexible installation options that reduce the need for manual adjustments.
Both models are available now at suggested retails of $2,199 (MX768) and $2,399 (MW769).
The projector pair features SmartEco power-saving technology that is designed to lower the total cost of ownership, and minimize setup and maintenance for a wide range of small- to medium-sized applications, BenQ said.
"With wireless display capabilities, compatibility with third-party devices and flexible placement options, the new MX768 and MW769 projectors are a testament to BenQ's reputation for responsive innovation — providing teachers, students and presenters with collaborative tools for superior presentations," said Bob Wudeck BenQ America strategy and business development associate VP.
Resolution for the MX768 is listed at XGA while the MW769 is WXGA.
Brightness is listed as 4,000 and 4,200 ANSI lumens each unit, respectively, offering high performance even in difficult ambient lighting conditions, the company said.
Both target such applications as medium-sized classrooms, corporate meeting spaces and other presentation venues.
Both projectors also come equipped with 20-watt speakers, offer full 3D-ready and Nvidia 3DTV play capabilities, and include optional wireless display for content delivery over the Cloud.
LAN control allows IT managers centralized remote monitoring and management, while integration with Crestron RoomView, AMX and PJLink, plus 1.5x (MX768) and 1.6x (MW769) big-zoom lens ratios, expand placement flexibility options.
BenQ includes its Corner Fit technology for both vertical and horizontal keystone adjustment of all four corners of the image to create a perfectly rectangular onscreen shape.
The company's Surface Fit features then automatically prevents unwanted image blends due to uneven surfaces, while eliminating the need for manual adjustment by end users.
To accommodate PC-less presentations, the MX768 and MW769 provide wireless display options, allowing cable-free connections to content sources. The projectors offer a complete multimedia hub with a variety of connectivity options including HDMI, RJ45 and USB.
Energy-saving features include Instant Restart, which allows rapid rebooting when the devices are accidentally switched off, up to 3,500 hours of lamp life with BenQ's SmartEco lamp-saving technology, and a filter-free optical system that reduces the projectors' total cost of ownership, BenQ said.
