Strider is offering a special edition Redline Strider under a licensing deal with Seattle Bike Supply, which owns the Redline trademark.
The balance bike weighs 6.7 pounds, features adjustable seat and handlebars and fits children ages 18 months to five years old. It will come in red and blue models and include official logos and number plate. The bikes will be made available worldwide in early November through Striker Bike and Seattle Bike Supply distributors.
"The new Redline Strider is a natural fit for us after being involved with BMX racing for the past three years through our Strider Racing program," said Ryan McFarland, founder of Strider Bikes. "It's amazing to see kids get the thrill of being on the track for the first time. We know the Redline Striders will bring that joy to more children at USA BMX tracks and bike parks around the country."
Seattle Bike Supply marketing manager Dirk Sorenson added, "Combining our Redline BMX heritage with Strider's surefire system to develop young riders, made an enormous amount of sense to us.
