Packaging company Econo-Pak plans to set up a new facility in Pennsylvania, for which it will acquire the former Altec Lansing building in Milford.
The company plans to move to the building in November, where it will handle packaging of cookies, crackers, muffins and candies.
Conditional use application requested by North American Packaging was approved by township supervisors.
North American Packaging does business under the name Econo-Pak, poconorecord.com reported.
Econo-Pak will convert bulk crackers send by food companies to smaller packages, which will be sold in large club, convenience and grocery stores across the US.
