It is reported that Taiwan's Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco) announced to cut April prices for its 300 series stainless hot rolled and cold rolled products by up to US $50/ton for overseas customers, and by NT2,500/ton for domestic buyers. It's known that the stainless prices in Asia have mostly been in a downtrend since mid-February due to sluggish demand and volatile nickel prices. However, it is expected that the stainless steel prices will rebound once demand picks up in the second quarter of this year.
