The CME Group's Corn, Soybean and Wheat Markets Are Expected to Start Mostly Higher

 On Wednesday, the CME Group's corn, soybean and wheat markets are expected to start mostly higher.

The early calls for the commodities on Tuesday, January 22, 2014, are mixed. Corn is seen opening 2-4 cents higher, soybeans 3-5 cents lower, and wheat 1-2 cents higher.

In overnight trading, the March corn futures contract traded 2 cents higher at $4.27 per bushel. The March soybean futures traded 3 1/4 cents lower at $12.77. The March wheat futures contract traded 1 1/4 cents higher at $5.63. For March soybean meal futures, the contract traded $0.20 per short ton lower at $416.30; March soybean oil futures traded $0.18 lower at $37.92.

The outside markets are favorable for Wednesday's grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the mixed overnight markets.
