The Average Steel Price in China Is up Slightly by 0.1%

According to data released by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC), the average steel price in China was up slightly by 0.1% from a week ago during July 8th through July 14th. In the given period of time, the prices of hot rolled steel sheets with thickness of 3mm and steel plates with thickness of 10mm increased by 0.3% and 0.2% respectively, both compared to the average price in a week ago. Meanwhile, the average price of mineral in China was up by 0.1%; that of energy fell by 0.7% and that of crude oil increased by 0.7%, all compared to the average price in a week ago.
