Esri, a US-based location analytics and GIS software provider, has signed a teaming agreement with Motion Computing to help insurance agencies enhance their claims workflow.
The companies will provide access to Esri's ArcGIS platform on ruggedized tablets, which in turn helps everyone in an insurance agency, including adjusters and analysts, have accessibility to same real-time data.
As a result, the agencies will be able to streamline pre-event planning to the most optimal customer service delivery and postevent fraud detection.
Motion strategic corporate alliances senior director Grant Frederiksen said Esri's solutions are capable of solving the toughest geospatial challenges in the industry.
"Powered by a Motion mobile solution, including a rugged tablet, tailored accessories, and services, together we deliver powerful location-based information at the touch of a finger," Frederiksen added.
Esri commercial industry director Simon Thompson said, "Working with Motion, we are able to provide better collaboration and decision making at the right time and place."
Mobile and enterprise integration of geographic information enables organizations to enhance loss adjustment workflow, prioritization, and scheduling, increase individual performance, as well as lower costs and complexity of deploying work force enablement applications.
