US-based packaging products manufacturer Rieke has announced plans to invest about $7.5m to expand its Indiana facility by 2016.
The investment will be used to install new equipment at the company's 73,360ft2 facility at Bellefontaine Road in Hamilton that will allow it to expand its capacity and capabilities to offer better services to customers.
Indiana Economic Development Corporation president Eric Doden said its business climate has a solid foundation in low taxes and limited red tape and is ripe for companies looking to achieve additional competitive edge.
"With our skilled workforce and pro-growth policies, companies with a world of choices choose to remain operating in Indiana," Doden added.
Rieke received up to $150,000 in training grants from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation based on the company's job creation plans.
Rieke president Lynn Brooks said the company will continue to expand into new markets and develop a program that meets the demands of customers.
"Our ability to be on the leading edge as a global designer and manufacturer is aided by the education and technology provided at Indiana colleges and universities," Brooks added.
