According to statistics, Turkey imported 433,995 tons of steel flat products in this September, falling by 14.7% year on year and down by 4% from a month ago.
In September, the country's import values generated by steel flat products amounted to US$311.5 million, decreasing by 3.1% from August and declining by 26.6% year on year.
In the first nine months of this year, Turkey's imports of steel flat products amounted to 3.7 million tons, decreasing by 5.4% year on year.
In the given period of time, the imports of steel flat products from Ukraine totaled 800,269 tons, up by 8.8%; that from Russia was at 677,289 tons, falling by 33.3%, both compared to that in the same period of a year ago.
