According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported 464,665 tons of steel flat products in February, soaring by 44% year on year but falling by 7% from a month ago. Among them, 334,949 tons were hot rolled steel flat products, decreasing by 5%; 41,838 tons were cold rolled steel flat products, falling by 24% and 62,470 tons were coated steel flat products, rising by 7%, all compared to those in a month ago.
