C&C was established on March 12, 2009 with an annual production of 30,000 HD trucks and 50,000 engines and has been persisting in the high-level products despite of adversities and difficulties in its four years of development.
In the first six months of 2013, C&C sells approximate 3,000 units of vehicles with year-on-year growth of over 100%. Of which, 33% are LNG trucks. And the sales of LNG products are expected to grow in the second half year. President Liu Bo says that C&C Trucks is on a fast-growing track after two years of silence.
C&C Trucks targets at 6,000 units, half of which have completed in the first six months. The sales volume of LNG trucks is surprisingly high. President Liu Bo is confident to fulfill this year's target.
In his opinion, the sound performance in the first half year is closely related to its new high-level products unveiled in the first half year—8x4 cargo truck and 13-liter LNG tractor. In the second half year, C&C will launch intelligent trucks. It has prepared a new product for 2014 which will be more advanced than current products in terms of allocation, economy, fuel conservation and light weight.
High-level LNG HD trucks will be key products of C&C in the second half year and even coming years. According to Liu Bo, C&C LNG HD trucks are distinctive in four respects: firstly, mastering core LNG engine resources with its YC6K13N gas engine the most mature product produced on the basis of world top 6K diesel engine mated to Yuchai ESI system combining Yuchai's 14 years of development experience. The engine has the largest displacement in China with largest torque featured by low consumption of gas, strong power, high reliability and low noise, and it delivers output as much as 440Ps and has sound underlying control. Secondly, C&C takes LNG trucks as a core strategic product and ensures the production of LNG engines and complete trucks. Thirdly, its LNG trucks have sound performance, large torque under a low speed and low consumption of gas. Fourthly, C&C takes good advantage of its industrial chain by deepening cooperation of CIMC ENRIC, Sanctum and Hongtu.
