IRNA reported that Mr Rostam Qassemi oil minister of Saudi Arabia arrived in Vienna to take part in the 162nd ordinary meeting of the OPEC oil ministers due to be held on 12th 2012.
It is the second meeting of the OPEC oil ministers in 2012 that is to focus on oil output ceiling and election of new secretary general. Moreover, the 77th meeting of the OPEC market monitoring committee was held in the OPEC Vienna Headquarters.
Iran has reduced crude oil output by 1 million barrels per day and demanded OPEC reduce ceiling of total output by 1 million barrels per day in a bid to stop Saudi Arabia violating its quota which undermined charter of the organization.
