Bankers Petroleum Is Pleased to Support The Signing of FIPA Between Canada and Albania

Bankers Petroleum Ltd. ("Bankers") is pleased to support the signing of a foreign investment promotion and protection agreement (FIPA) between Canada and Albania. The announcement was made by the Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade at Albania's Independence Day reception in Ottawa yesterday.

As the largest foreign direct investor in Albania, Bankers is pleased to support the FIPA treaty designed to provide a legal framework between host governments to promote and protect investments abroad. Bankers views this treaty as a mutually beneficial agreement for both Albania and Canada, part of an ongoing strategy to facilitate investment flows, contribute to job creation and economic growth. To further these efforts, Bankers will participate in the Canada-Albania Business Council Mission in Tirana, Albania next week.

Bankers Petroleum is pleased to celebrate Albania's National Day and congratulates Albania on 101 years of its independence.
