US-based multi-line insurer group Farmers Insurance, has appointed John Mueting as the new head of its broker dealer business Farmers Financial Solutions (FFS), which delivers an array of financial service products to consumers.
Mueting will be accountable for managing the FFS team and for growing the number of licensed Farmers agencies that sell Farmers Financial Solutions products.
Commenting on the new role, Mueting said, "At Farmers, we have the tools and the right environment to build on past successes and to grow our business in the future."
Before joining Farmers, Mueting was working as vice president of global accounts for Pershing, and has over 20 years of expertise in managing the financial services products to consumers through licensed insurance agents and broker dealers.
He worked for more than 20 years with Allstate Insurance where he held a number of management positions, such as the role to distribute financial services through the insurer's property and casualty and life specialist distribution channels.
Farmers Insurance Group of Companies offers an array of other insurance and financial services products.
