W. Silver Products is expanding its product offerings with a line of adjustable beds from Ergomotion.
"We partnered with Ergomotion to distribute their adjustable beds to our furniture store and sleep shop channel of distribution," said Brent Polunsky, bedding support sales manager for W. Silver Products, a bed frame and support manufacturer. "This partnership allows us to be a leader in both categories: bed frames and supports, and also adjustable beds."
He said the new line rounds out W. Silver's offerings.
"The addition of Ergomotion adjustable beds to our product offerings completes the picture by permitting W. Silver Products to be a single source for mattress and bedding retailers," Polunsky said. "Through this distribution agreement, we become a better resource to our customers. Bed frames and adjustable beds go to the same customer and can go on the same order shipment. We can ship the bases with our bed frames or by themselves, whatever the retailer requires."
The adjustable bedding category is growing, he said.
"More dealers are realizing that it takes no more square footage on their retail floor to show a higher margin, added-value, lifestyle-focused adjustable base than it does to display a flat foundation," Polunsky said. "Consumer demand is increasing in the lifestyle and comfort marketplace. It means increased sales and margins for the mattress retailer."
