US Stainless Makers Announced to Cut Alloy Surcharges for January

Reportedly, the major stainless producers in the US announced to cut alloy surcharges for stainless flat products for January.

North America Stainless cut its alloy surcharges for 304 grades to 65.09 cents/lb. for next January from US$66.26 cents/lb. Besides, its surcharges for 316 grades fell to 89.33 cents/lb. from 91.10 cents/lb. However, its surcharges for 430 grades increased to 24.36 cents/lb. from 23.69 cents/lb.

ATI Allegheny Ludlum’s surcharges for 300 grades fell to 64.61 cents/lb. from 66.26 cents/lb.; those for 316 grades dropped to 88.86 cents/lb. from 91.10 cents/lb. Nevertheless, it increased surcharges to 23.81 cents/lb. from 23.69 cents/lb.
