The Line Voltage Linear LED Engine is a winner of the 2012 Product Innovation Award(PIA)from Architectural SSL magazine.It is the first LED lighting solution to be compatible with all existing fixtures,eliminating the need for additional hardware or electronic driver or rewiring.Upon quick installation within five minutes,the Line Voltage Linear LED Engine can transform the existing fixture into a unit with high energy efficiency.However,the fixture's UL listing will not be impacted.
The design based on Smart Thermal Design and patented LEDSense Thermal Foldback circuitry,the Line Voltage Linear LED Engine ensures efficient installation in any sealed fixture.The IP-65 rated engine is ideal for both outdoor and indoor installations such as in wall lights,ceiling surface mounted fixtures and outdoor wall packs and in wall sconces and recessed step lights.The engine's unique design allows transmission of the heat emitted from the LEDs to the fixture's metallic enclosure.LEDSense circuitry offers additional protection.During high temperatures,the LEDs will be protected by the LEDSense which will minimize the power until a safe temperature is attained,making the LEDs more durable.
The Line Voltage Linear LED Engine is 100-277V compatible with 1-10V dimming and can be optimized for 120V compatibility with phase dimming.It complies in three sizes such as 4-,6-and 8-in.This high-efficacy engine generates 50 LPW with mere 8-W power consumption.
The Line Voltage Linear LED Engine is UL Recognized Component for OEM Products and UL1598C LED Retrofit listed for existing fixtures.It is available in four-color temperatures that include 2700K,3000K,3500K and 4000K.
