South Korea based automaker Hyundai Motor has launched the revamped version of its Elantra sedan in the home market in order to strengthen its presence.
The new vehicle is powered by the 1.6L diesel engine that generates an output of 128ps and maximum torque of 28.5kg/m, while offering fuel consumption of 18.5km/L.
The new Elantra comes with redesigned 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels and chrome molding on its belt line, as well as new black, two-tone rear bumper and LED rear combination lamps.
Interiors of the vehicle include upward moved center air vent, raised front center armrest, 3.5inch OLED display and ventilation seats.
Features of the revamped sedan include smart parking assist system (SPAS), flex steer and Hyundai Motor's advanced idle stop and go (ISG) system.
The first model of the vehicle was launched in 1990 and has lead the Hyundai Motor's compact-size sales across the globe with total sales of over 8.77 million units.
