DOC Announces The Final Results of Its Administrative Review of The Antidumping Order

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Tuesday the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping order on large diameter (over 4.5 inches in diameter) carbon and alloy seamless standard, line, and pressure pipe from Japan.

The review covered four Japanese producers/exporters - JFE Steel Corporation; Nippon Steel Corporation; NKK Tubes; and Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd. - and one exporter - Canadian Natural Resources Limited - during the period from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012.

The DOC found that JFE, Nippon, NKK, and Sumitomo made no shipments of subject merchandise to the United States during the period of review.? Accordingly, there was no change in the dumping duty deposit rates for these companies, which are 68.88 percent for JFE and NKK and 107.80 percent for Nippon and Sumitomo.

In addition, the DOC found that entries of subject merchandise from Canadian Natural Resources Limited should be liquidated without AD duties.
