ASA Australia has released a private label brand of copy paper as part of its expanding Aspire range.
ASA Australia general manager Siobhan Tagell told Stationery News that Aspire-branded copy paper, developed in conjunction with Australian Office, is the most significant inclusion to the group's private label range, which now covers 30 products and product groups.
“ASA Australia and its members will be the only office products reseller group with their private label copy paper coming out of an Australian mill,” she said.
“We believe that having an Australian private label paper, which supports Australian manufacturing, jobs and communities, gives us a competitive advantage over our peers.
“The product is PEFC-accredited and made in line with Australian Forestry Standards,” she said. “This product does not create issues around unsustainable forests and we are really proud of the collaboration with Australian Office.”
Tagell said the packaging plays on the Australian aspect even more by its incorporation of the ‘Opera House like’ sails design.
To help launch the product, sample packs and detailed specification sheets have been designed for distribution to the consumer.
