The Vessel Series pretty glass lamps were created to specifically carry the "Plumen 001″ a low-energy light bulb released in September. The lightbulb itself was released as the "world's first designer low energy bulb".
The Vessel pieces created by Samuel Wilkinson are hand blown so each piece is unique. They are made by three different cuts, with each being piece available for suspension or as an accent to the table top. Each cut was created to display the bulb at a different perspective.
Samuel Wilkinson is an industrial designer based in London. He opened up is own studio in 2007 where he continues to develop new projects.
