Subaru, the automobile manufacturing division of Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), has launched the 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX STI for the Canadian market with increased power output.
The new vehicle is powered by the Subaru Boxer engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission multi-mode driver controlled centre differential (DCCD) version of all-wheel drive system that generates an output of 305hp.
Subaru Impreza WRX STI comes with Dunlop SP600 245/40R18 summer performance tires with either 18-inch Enkei aluminum wheels or five-split-spoke design.
The car features dynamic control systems, Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-DRIVE) and a multi-mode vehicle dynamics control (VDC) system, which features a track performance-optimized mode.
Features of the new vehicle include multi-reflector halogen fog lights, Xenon high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights, mirror-integrated LED turn signals, power sunroof and automatic climate control as well as auto-dimming mirror.
Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with SIRIUS XM Radio, a Kicker 10-inch subwoofer, Brembo Performance Brake System with super sport anti-lock brakes (ABS) and electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).
