According to data, Japan’s exports of hot rolled coils (HRC) totaled 885,140 tons in September, decreasing by 12.1% from a month ago. Meanwhile, the country’s HRC export prices averaged at US$578.3/ton FOB, down by 0.6% month on month. In September, Korea was the largest HRC exporter to Japan with 158,869 tons, falling by 19.9%; China was the second largest one with 85,838 tons, down by 0.5%, both compared to the figures in a month ago.
