It’s reported that the Korean steel giant Posco announced that it has commissioned Posco Thailand Steel Processing (Pos-TSPC), a new service center for stainless cold rolled products in eastern Thailand on May 28th.
The new service center which owns annual capacity of 55,000 tons is set up to supply coils and sheets to nearby carmakers and home appliances producers.
It’s learned that Pos-TSPC is equipped with one slitter, one shear and one mini-shear to process 300 and 400 grades stainless steel products.
Meanwhile, Pos-TSPC is owned by Posco-Thainox Public, Posco’s subsidiary in Thailand. The center will receive sources from Posco-Thainox’s stainless cold rolled mill in Rayong.
