Three talented newcomers to the packaging business have been shortlisted for this year's Rising Star category, sponsored by Mercury Search & Selection.
The category was introduced in 2012 to celebrate the bright sparks who will lead the packaging industry in years to come; the inaugural winner was Dan Jordan of Boomerang Plastics.
This year's nominees, picked by the Packaging News editorial team, are:
Ellie Jahnz, a designer at the Cornish clothing brand Seasalt; Matthew Hunt, packaging supply chain manager at Taylors of Harrogate; and Joe Fogel, managing director of The Vaiopak Group.
The winner will be announced at the UK Packaging Awards dinner on 13 November.
