Outokumpu North America announced to cut its alloy surcharges for June after the major stainless steel producers including North America Stainless, AK Steel and ATI Allegheny Ludlum announced to cut its alloy surcharges earlier this week. After the adjustment, its alloy surcharges for 304 grades are at US$0.6859/lb., decreasing from US$0.7406/lb. for May; those for 316 grades are at US$0.977/lb., lower than US$1.0414/lb. for May; those for 430 grades are at US$0.2158/lb., falling from US$0.2253/lb. for May.
