A second drop of new label Somerset by Alice Temperley, created exclusively for the UK department store John Lewis by the iconic British designer is in store now.
The second drop will consist mainly of pieces for the forthcoming party season, such as black beaded evening gowns and a full length silk dress in emerald green, as well as a jacquard knit kimono and the ultimate pair of black leather trousers.
The Somerset by Alice Temperley collection, named after her beloved home county in the South West of England, is infused with the brand's iconic style, with beautiful lace detailing and silks. The collection is defined by a directional use of monochrome, animal print and leather, for a luxurious daytime look or elegant evening style.
John Lewis, regularly voted the UK's favourite retailer, began trading in 1864 with the opening of our first shop in London's Oxford Street. Since then, and through the efforts of our 81,000 Partners (staff), we have succeeded in becoming the largest multi-channel retailer in the UK, with 37 John Lewis shops (29 department stores and eight John Lewis at home) and a growing online business.
