Bishkek, the capital and largest city in Kyrgyzstan, will host the 13th international exhibition ‘Fashion Industry: products and equipment in 2014’ from March 5-10, 2014.
The success of previous exhibitions attracted interest from regional producers and foreign participants, as well as fruitfully implemented goals of participants and visitors, according to Legprom—the Association of Light Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The fair would be a meeting place for all companies and wholesalers dealing in apparel and accessories.
The exhibition will provide opportunity for buyers and exhibitors from the Kyrgyz light industry to sign contracts, especially in the field of woven, knit and fur products.

In addition, the fair will acquaint visitors and exhibitors with the works of young designers. Moreover, it will provide visitors the opportunity to purchase exclusive items directly from manufacturers.
The exhibition will have five thematic sections: garments from Kyrgyz producers; equipment, materials and technologies, and fabric from foreign companies; Jerseys; Furs and fur products; and Leather shoes.
Seminars and roundtables on issues related to the fashion and apparel industry in Kyrgyzstan will also be organized on the sidelines of the fair, according to Legprom.
More than fifty garment enterprises, as well as companies from Germany, Czech Republic, China, Japan, Korea, Turkey, and Mongolia will participate in the event showcasing their sewing machines and textile products.
