Oregon-based Deschutes Brewery is all set to extend the distribution of its beers to the states of Ohio and Kentucky from 24 January 2014.

To expand its craft beers sales in the regions, the company has partnered with Heidelberg Distributing Company's Rampant Brands Division, which will primarily focus on the distribution, education and sale of craft beer.

Rampant currently serves 88 counties in Ohio and many retailers in the wet counties of Kentucky.

The brewery will initially roll out Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter, Inversion IPA, and Red Chair Northwest Pale Ale, which will be available in six-packs and draft.

Deschutes Brewery expansion manager Stacy Denbow said with 11 million future fans and more than 22,000 licensed retail accounts, they knew moving into Ohio would be a huge undertaking.

"Partnership with an expert company like Heidelberg's Rampant Division gave us a great opportunity to launch in Ohio, as well as extending into the great Commonwealth of Kentucky," Denbow added.

The brewery recently expanded its facility in Bend, Oregon with the addition of ten new 1,300 barrel fermentation tanks, which will increase the brewery's capacity to brew over 460,000 barrels of beers annually to fill the growing demand in its expanding distribution footprint.
