According to data released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance, the country’s H-beam exports totaled 34,200 tons in November, falling by 8.7% from a month ago and jumping by 89.4% year on year.
The country’s export prices of H-beam averaged at ¥69,000/ton FOB in November, rising by ¥1,000/ton from October.
Among them, 9,700 tons were exported to Korea; 5,400 tons were to Taiwan and 6,300 tons were to Hong Kong.
In the January-November period, Japan’s H-beam exports amounted to 438,000 tons, increasing by 34.8% year on year.
In the given period of time, India was the largest importer of the Japanese H-beams with 56,800 tons; Korea was the second largest one with 97,000 tons and Taiwan was the third largest one with 61,000 tons.
