According to statistics released by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), Japan’s exports of stainless steel products totaled 95,411 tons in November, decreasing by 7.7% from a month ago.
The country’s export revenues generated by stainless steel product totaled US$350.82 million in November. The export prices of stainless steel products averaged at US$3,677/ton, down by 13.8% month on month.
In November, Japan’s exports of stainless steel products to Taiwan totaled 14,304 tons, down by 3.6%; those to Korea were at 16,887 tons, decreasing by 19.8%; those to Taiwan were at 17,853 tons, rising by 12%, all compared to those in a month ago.
