AETATS and Taiwan Trade Center Hold the 7th High Official Meeting

Association of Economy and Trade across Taiwan Straits (AETATS) and Taiwan Trade Center held a senior official meeting 2015 in Xi’an on July 16. It’s the 7th senior official meeting since the establishment of their bilateral cooperation mechanism in 2009. Honorary President of AETATS An Min and Chairman of Taiwan Trade Center Liang Guoxin attended and addressed the meeting.

An Min said since the first senior official meeting in 2009, the two sides have established stable and efficient working mechanism with frequent exchanges and tacit cooperation. The efforts and achievements the two sides have made are very obvious and noticeable. Facts prove that it’s very necessary for both sides to establish cooperation mechanism of this kind. He hoped that the two sides could further expand communication and upgrade the cooperation through the meeting, and jointly advance cross-straits economic cooperation and communication with innovative idea and practical attitude.

The meeting reviewed last year’s work. The two sides agreed that the expected goals have been realized with remarkable fruits through successful cooperation and honest communication. They exchanged views on developing friendly relation in the coming year, establishing close cooperation mechanism and strengthening information research and communication, reached extensive consensus and signed the MOU for cooperation 2015.

Attending the meeting were President of AETATS Wang Liaoping, vice President of AETATS Luo Hong, Secretary of AETATS Kang Wen and Deputy Secretary of Taiwan Trade Center Wang Ximeng.
