Motech Industries Announced That US Department Downward Adjusted Anti-Dumping Tariff Rate

Crystalline silicon solar cell maker Motech Industries has announced that the US Department of Commerce has downward adjusted the anti-dumping tariff rate for the company from the original 44.18% to 20.86%.

The department on July 25 decided to impose a preliminary anti-dumping tariff of 44.18% on Motech. However, Motech argued that the department used erroneous data to calculate the rate, and earlier in August filed an appeal asking the department to reassess the tariff.
