China Pavilion 2015, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce opened in Cologne, Germany on August 5. Counselor Zhu Weige of China’s Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office in Frankfurt attended the opening ceremony, and also attending were representatives from the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of MOFCOM, the German-Chinese Economic Association (DCW) and Cologne International Exhibition Corporation.
The Chinese pavilion covered an area of nearly 300 square meters with 16 exhibitors from Beijing, Shanxi Province, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang Province, Shanghai city, Sichuan Province, and Chengdu city. The products on show included pc, video game console, telecommunication equipment, laptop, electronic toy, online game, mobile game, game software, educational software, household software, and cartoon products. One-stop service district was also established on the spot to provide consulting service on doing business in Germany for Chinese exhibitors and enterprises.
The exhibition was undertaken by the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of MOFCOM, and co-sponsored by Genertec International Advertising & Exhibition Co., Ltd..
