Haerbin, October 12 (Xinhua)-The Vice Premier of the State Council Wang Yang jointly attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd China-Russia Expo with the Russian Vice-Premier Dimitry Rogozin in Haerbin on October 12 and held the Chairman Meeting of the China-Russia Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting Committee.
Wang said that at present the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership continues to develop forward and profoundly at a high level. China is willing to work with Russia to strengthen the docking between the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Russian development strategy according to the consensuses reached by the heads of the state and Premiers of China and Russia, to focus on promoting the cooperation in big strategic projects in the fields such as space flight, nuclear energy, civil aviation and cross-border transportation, to strive to obtain new cooperative results, to push forward the economic development of the two countries and to make good preparation for the 20th Regular Meeting of China-Russia Premiers by the end of this year.
Rogozin said that Russia regards China as an important country to expand the pragmatic cooperation and is willing to provide more open and favorable policy environment for the cooperation between the two countries.
Both sides agreed that efforts should be made to hold a more featured and effective China-Russia Expo at a higher level so that it can serve as an important platform to promote the China-Russia pragmatic cooperation.
