Recently, a cholera epidemic stroke South Sudan. In order to express Chinese government and its people’s comfort and support to the people in South Sudan and help Sudan government control the outbreak as soon as possible, the Chinese government decided to provide US$300,000 cash assistance to the South Sudan government for the purchase of medicine and medical materials in urgent needs.
The Chinese government will continue to provide assistance within its ability to help Sudan government and its people overcome the cholera epidemic at the earliest time in accordance with the needs and situation of the epidemic.
