MOFCOM Releases the China’s Foreign Trade Report 2015 (Spring)

The MOFCOM released the China’s Foreign Trade Report 2015 (Spring) (hereinafter referred to as “the report” on May 5, 2015.

The report reviewed China’s foreign trade performance in 2014 and in the first quarter of 2015. China’s foreign trade in 2014 maintained a steady growth, with the international market share being improved, its position as a trade power being consolidated, the structure being further optimized and both the quality and benefits being improved. In the first quarter of 2015, against the backdrop of global slowdown, China’s exports have sustained good momentum while the imports saw a great decline, some important products

According to the report, in 2015, the world economy will maintain a tendency of steady recovery, factors of unstable and uncertainties increase and international competition will get fiercer. China’s economy shows a steady growth with structure adjustment being advanced steadily and cultivation of new vigor being accelerated, but still faces downward pressure. China’s foreign trade, especially the export, enjoys basis conditions of growth, but the serious situation and complexity hasnot been changed dramatically, many factors of instability and uncertainty still exist and challenges and pressure increase.
