Designed by the award winning designer Hector Serrano for Arturo Alvarez, the Woods Pendant light was inspired by the light and shadow magic of the woods. When walking through the woods you may notice the unique play of light and shadow that penetrates through the trees, shining through both the canopy and sometimes the trunks and branches. The play of both light and shadow leave way for the imgination to open and allow for the mind to wonder.
The designer reflects that, "The controlled chaos that its created by light and shadow gives an extraordinary naturalness and character. At the same time, a pleasant direct light where required."
The Woods is both adaptable in size and its configurations. Leaving room for you to design and imagine your own forest like light and shadow play within your space. In honor of the forest, this product is a sustainable product. The wood is derived from responsibly managed forests, and was designed with minimum packaging needs in mind as well as the use of a low voltage light source.
