The LuminAID solar light was designed to make a difference and fulfill a specialized heartfelt lighting need. With the focus on affordable renewable light, LuminAID designers Anna Stork and Andrea Sreshta set forth to improve the safety and comfort of disaster victims worldwide. A chance meeting of these Columbia University graduate students and a few common design interests, including solar technology and global problems, prompted this unique lighting product.
