A test car believed to be the revised Audi R8 GT has been caught by CarAdvice's spy photographers undergoing high-speed track testing at Germany's Nurburgring.
Wearing V10 badges, front aero canards and a large rear wing, our spies suggest the car is either the next Audi R8 GT or an even more aggressive model based on the range-topping $408,200 Audi R8 V10 Plus with its 404kW/540Nm 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine.
A new chin spoiler, large brake calipers and what appear to be carbon ceramic cross-drilled brake discs also add to the new road-going GT's credentials.
While the outgoing Audi R8 GT was tuned to 412kW, the new model is likely to push this closer towards the 420-440kW mark.
The updated 2013 Audi R8 range launched locally in March, with prices starting at $279,500 for the base 316kW/430Nm 4.2-litre V8-powered R8.
