We are living at the age of technology and it has made our life very comfortable and easier. In the field of welding, technology has touched greatly that's why this field has become fulfilled in touch of science and technology. Today there are many welders and an almost equally large amount of manufacturers, perhaps the largest and most famous of which is Clarke. A Clarke Welder is generally regarded a good combination of awesome fluxcore power without breaking the bank. Let's take a look at the some of the more prevalent manufacturers in this exciting sector...
Clarke - They are regarded as the popular manufacturer, offering the most mig welder power for your buck. Their best known models are the MIG135TE, which offers a professional style, non-live torch and a turbo fan cooling for improved duty cycle & transformer life, making this little beast ideal for DIY car repairs and other jobs around the home. Let's not forget its baby brother, the 110E Mig Welder. Not quite as powerful or expensive, but still offering plenty of grunt. Other models in the Clarke Mig Welder range include WE6523 110V, WE6442 185SG Flux core, WE6524 180EN, CLKWE6441 100 Amp, WE6480A MIG 95 120V 1/8", 60 - amp Fluxcore.
Fronius -They offer innovative models which are favoured by the more professionally minded welders. Their best know machines are the TransPulsSynergic 2700, 3200 and the monster 5000. Additional, and more technical mig welders include the VarioSynergic 4000-2 and the VarioSynergic 5000-2 that offer a stepped and microprocessor-controlled MIG/MAG power source with separate wire-feed unit and 4-roll drive. Fronius is one of the more expensive options, but their machines certainly make the grade.
Esab: As their website says "ESAB offers machines for every application from light industrial to heavy-duty production work and equipment for all MIG processes". Perhaps not the largest manufacturer, their machines are still very much popular in the world of welding. Their models offer monster power, and include the Mig-master pro 215, Mig-master 203 industrial welder, ESAB Mig-master 203 Single Phase MIG Welder and last, but not least, the ESAB Mig-master 253 Single Phase.
So, when it comes to selecting a good clarke mig welder, the choice can be a little bewildering. Sticking to the three companies outlined above is a good place to start. All three are well known within the welding fraternity and, whichever route you chose, it is not likely that you are going to be disappointed.
